Thanks for all your help. You are really good at this. As I have mentioned I am new to BB. I am a Nokia user and not use to efficient moderators. I see BB is constantly updating everything and if there is something wrong with one of the phones they will come out and admit it and inform everyone that the engineers are working on the solution. Nokia will not admit ever about any problem. They can go years without updating firmware.

I did want to mention that I upgraded using what Desktop Manager recommended for the Bold. It is 4.6.0.216. I am not the impressed with this one. It has not fixed anything and I believe the battery is depleting faster. If anyone can recommend a stable, reliable, upgrade I would really appreciate it.

I have read good reviews about .266, you might try that one.

In deed. I'm using .266 right now and works great. All apps working and no batt drain or signal losses

Cheers!

You explained this once and now I can't find it. How do you do that wipe you recommend before updating. Also I have heard great things about Bold upgrade 4.6.0.247. Have you heard anything and if so tell me the best way to download it.
