PEOPLE PLEASE HELP!!

I was just upgrading my girlfriend's 8300 and the device got disconnected from the USB when it was in the middle of the app deletion process. Now it just blinks in red and DM it's not reading the device...

Did a battery pull but i don't know what else to do...

(got the back up first thou...i just can't get it started)

GOT IT DONE!!

Did some research and...if by any chance you get your device unplugged during the upgrade process, and later you see that it never came up again?. Do this:

(Close DM if you have it open)

1. Plug the device in the PC
2. Open AppLoder wich is in: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
3. Follow the instructions selectin only the default
4. Wait 'till the device is fully turned on (this could take a long while...so be patience)

At the end of the process you'll have a fully reseted handheld. Then you can open DM and load the aditional apps for your phone with the apploader link. After that, you're ready to go with the upgrade.

Worked for me like this on a Curve 8300 as i was trying to make an upgrade into 4.5

i just tried to update my phone and one of my dogs unplugged it while it was updating and now all i get is an app error message and when i try to put it back into the DM it doesn't do anything. what should i do?

I hope you done a back up first. As i explain y had the same problem that you posted and as a result, got it fixed...BUT!..the solution implies a complete erase of the phone's info. My friend, i'm sorry to say that you may follow the instructions in my last post to this thread, but what you get is an empty blackberry.

Please let me know if this works for you
